There is a controversial post from FBAExpert that is literally flying around the internet that is proposing doom & gloom for the Amazon seller.
For those of you who are seasoned Amazon sellers it is very clear that Amazon is slowly trying to populate each and every product listing on it’s website.
Is Amazon looking to send it’s sellers down the river? To many it’s sure looking that way …
More and more Amazon is jumping aboard the listings of the best selling items on their website and going head to head with their top name sellers all while being armed with the bargaining power of a keen algorithm, inside information & a fat wallet.
It’s no secret that Amazon makes a TON of money on the backs of their sellers. That is the backbone of their business.
Think about it: What’s better than free profit?
In my personal opinion I truly don’t think Amazon is going to let that go quite that quickly. In fact, they wouldn’t have all of the data to do this WITHOUT their sellers.
Right now Amazon has the advantage of free data, free beta testing & free analytics. Once the sellers are gone, the free data is gone, along with all of that free money. Sure, they can always get data but it’s gonna cost ’em ! Will Amazon bite the hand that feeds them?
